AED membership also includes equipment manufacturers and industry-service firms. CED magazine has been published continuously since 1920.

The Debate of Our Lifetimes

The construction equipment industry is at risk of becoming collateral damage, while a budget-cutting Congress squares off with a suddenly pro-infrastructure administration.

As I write this, Congress and the administration are locked in a largely but not entirely partisan battle over spending cuts and investment priorities. We at AED find ourselves in the uncomfortable and somewhat unfamiliar situation where some of our best friends on one set of AED's priority issues may be our biggest opponents on another.

Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) is an international trade association representing companies involved in the distribution, rental and support of equipment used in construction, mining, forestry, power generation, agriculture and industrial applications.
