These volunteers play a crucial role in evaluating school programs that have applied for accreditation.
AED Foundation Evaluation Team Leaders (ETLs) are responsible for evaluating and approving college diesel/equipment technical programs that have applied for AED Accreditation.
The requirements of an evaluation team leader are numerous. First and foremost, they are construction equipment industry veterans with expertise in diesel/equipment technology. In addition, they must have a thorough knowledge of AED technical standards and requirements for AED Accreditation; must be familiar with technical college program curricula and course structures; have expertise in the areas of leadership, team building, and developing relationships; and have the ability to be a consultative resource on AED Accreditation for applicant technical colleges.
These industry professionals donate their time and efforts to work on behalf of The AED Foundation and the larger equipment industry. “The AED Foundation would like to express its sincere thanks to our evaluation team leaders for their important service,” said Executive Director Steve Johnson. “They are the “front line” that makes AED Accreditation a reality.”
