The International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition is Oct. 6-8 at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.

Website: http://www.icuee.com

ICUEE, also known as The Demo Expo, is the biennial exposition for demonstrations of construction and utility equipment. At ICUEE, attendees can operate the equipment themselves and explore the newest products and innovations in the industry. The broad spectrum of equipment available to operate is the ultimate in competitive comparisons. An extensive education program complements displays of the latest equipment technology and product innovations.

ICUEE attracts those involved in the electric, phone/cable, sewer/water, gas, general construction, landscaping and public works segments. An estimated 25,000 industry professionals from around the world are expected to attend ICUEE 2009 and the co-located H2O-XPO.

ICUEE 2009 is expected to attract 850 exhibitors taking 1.18 million net square feet (109,622 square meters) of indoor and outdoor exhibit space (equivalent to more than 27 acres). Equipment displayed includes but is not limited to: all-terrain carriers, attachments, components, earthmoving, environmental, light, overhead and maintenance, material handling, recycling, safety, testing, transportation, trenching, trenchless, trucks, and utility materials/supplies.

Exhibit hours are:
  • October 6, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • October 7, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • October 8, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

AED is a supporting organization of ICUEE. CED magazine proudly presents pertinent details for AED member dealers attending ICUEE.

Ride and Drive Demo Area

In the Ride and Drive demo area,
attendees can test drive commercial vehicles “on the open road” to better evaluate not only the trucks but also engines and components, including transmissions, power systems, clutch and brake systems, safety and collision warning systems, fleet, fuel and GPS management systems, and hybrid and alternative fuel systems.

Hands-on working equipment demonstrations at ICUEE also take place in outdoor exhibit space that is suitable for shallow digging, in addition to areas for deep digging. Hard-asphalt outdoor exhibit space accommodates above-ground and overhead demonstrations.
