Compact, Powerful Telescopic Tool CarrierBobcat introduces the new V417 VersaHandler. Bobcat’s new V417 VersaHandler telescopic tool carrier combines the speed, agility and strength of a skid-steer with the extended reach of a telehandler. The new telescopic tool carrier is compact, yet offers powerful and precise operation. The V417 features the exclusive Bob-Tach attachment mounting system also used on Bobcat loaders, which means that select Bobcat attachments for larger loaders and excavators can now be used with the tool carrier to increase rental fleet versatility.
The V417 has an operating weight of 4,400 pounds, features a narrow frame and is just 6 feet wide and 6.5 feet tall, which is great for entering limited access areas. With 17 feet of lift height, it can easily lift materials to heights that smaller loaders are incapable of reaching. Controls are easy to use – the V417 has a simple single joystick for precise control of attachment functions, boom extension and retraction, auxiliary hydraulics and boom float. For greater productivity, operators can set the boom in the float position to automatically follow the ground contour when backfilling or grading.
The hydrostatic drive provides dynamic braking and maximum torque at ground contact. An inching pedal momentarily maintains high rpm with slow travel speeds. The creep function adds greater control when an attachment requires high or full rpm at a slow speed for long distances.

New Hydraulic-Powered Magnets from Tramac Corp. Muscle-Mate, a Tramac Corp. brand, introduces its new line of hydraulic powered magnets. The TMAG series of magnets are available in four sizes ranging from 770 pounds to 6,600 pounds with flow ranges of 4 to 12 gpm. The TMAG can be installed on any type of carrier with a hydraulic source available. The generator is housed in the assembly and requires no additional plumbing. Mounting is fast and easy using a chain or bracket. The TMAG is ideal for concrete recycling, removal of metals at wood grinders, rebar removal on bridge deck demolition and general site clean-up. The TMAG offers an efficient and economical alternative for sorting and separating. The TMAG magnet can be activated by a breaker button or foot pedal. Demagnetizing occurs when the flow is stopped. The TMAG has built-in protection to avoid overheating and excessive flow. The sturdy construction of the housing provides protection to the internal mechanisms, reducing downtime and maintenance. For more information, call 800-526-3837 or visit www.muscle-mate.com
