A small family business, Lowe Manufacturing, designs and produces its auger and trencher attachments with nearly unprecedented precision.
Designing and building attachments that offer outstanding performance, the highest quality and best value have been at the heart of Lowe Manufacturing since its inception in 1971.Lowe, a Readstown, Wis.-based auger and trencher attachment manufacturer, is a family business that prides itself on not trying to be all things to all people. While some equipment manufacturers add attachments as a sideline business, Richard Lowe, president of Lowe Manufacturing says his business offers higher quality because attachments are their main focus."We have a different approach to how our products are developed," said Lowe. "We focus only on a few things and apply our resources to doing those things well. Trying to be all things to all people means mediocrity. Instead, we choose to focus on a few things and be the best."The company offers five trencher models and 12 auger drivers. In addition, the company sells auger bits and attachment mountings.Lowe's XR series of trenching attachments features a 50,000 pound digging chain, removable double-flighted spoil auger, self-aligning boom with grease cylinder tensioning system, maintenance-free tapered roller bearings in the nose, a longer life boom roller and high operating pressure capability.The XL Series of auger drive units features reliable hydraulic motors, solid unit structures, a heavy-duty reduction drive and a new drive shaft support system. The design of the auger drive units allows operators to drill closer to a building or obstruction.Lowe says that AED dealers looking for an attachment manufacturer with excellent customer service and reliable attachments should consider partnering with his company."Small independent dealers buy our products because they only want the best product for themselves and their customers," said Lowe.When customers call Lowe the one thing they won't get is a pre-recorded message (unless it's after hours.)"Any employee who answers the phone can take care of questions," said Lowe. "We make it easy for our customers to get what they need."Lowe explains that the company has a low rate of warranty requests and very few requests for parts, which he believes are testament to the durability and quality of his attachments."We test the daylights out of our products," said Lowe. "When you're a small company you have to do a better job than the other guys. The company has to have something to demonstrate a benefit over its competition, and for us it's our commitment to offering the best products possible. Our knowledge of products, exceptionally low warranty rate and signature low parts sales all point to the high quality products that you can depend on for years of reliable service."
