JLG has made several key leadership changes. Wayne Lawson, Mike Rafi, Joe Dixon and Kristen Skyba will each expand their roles with the company. In addition, JLG has appointed two new dealers: C.L. Boyd Co., covering Oklahoma and north central Texas and Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental covering parts of Wisconsin. JLG, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Truck Corp., manufactures access equipment. Ingersoll Rand recently named several new authorized dealers of its milling machine equipment line, including Ingersoll Rand Equipment & Services Southboro in Southboro, Mass.; Cummings, McGowan & West in St. Louis, Mo.; Faris Machinery Co. in Commerce City, Colo.; Swanston Equipment in Fargo, N.D.; Road Machinery & Supplies in Savage, Minn.; Finkbiner Equipment Co. in Burr Ridge, Ill.; and Tracey Road Equipment in East Syracuse, N.Y. Ingersoll Rand manufactures construction equipment and attachments.
Dave Christifulli, Wacker Corp.'s vice president of sales and product support has announced his retirement effective Dec. 31, 2007. Christifulli has worked with Wacker for 32 years and has led the sales organization as vice president since 1986.
Johannes Schulze Vohren has been named vice president, sales and product support at Wacker. His position includes overseeing the entire domestic sales organization as well as marketing communications, technical publications, sales engineering and product support.
Also retiring in 2007 is Harold Rick, a seasoned national sales manager. He has worked with Wacker Corp. in a variety of sales positions for 22 years. Todd Christifulli has been named the new national sales manager and will oversee Wacker's extensive field sales organization. Wacker Corp. manufactures light construction equipment.
Faris Machinery announces several appointments. Bill Smith has been appointed district manager, central mountain region, Colorado for Faris Machinery Co. Bob Goering has been named branch manager for the Colorado Springs, Colo., branch. Also, Larry Case has been named shop foreman. Based in Commerce City, Colo., Faris Machinery is a construction and road maintenance equipment distributor for a number of manufacturers including Gehl, Gradall, Kawasaki, Ingersoll Rand, Wacker, and Ground Heaters Inc.
Caterpillar Inc. executive Gerald L. Shaheen has been named to the board of directors of Ford Motor Co. A group president at Caterpillar's Peoria, Ill., headquarters, Shaheen has responsibility for the design, development, and production of Caterpillar's large construction and mining equipment, as well as the company's U.S. operations division. He is also responsible for marketing and sales operations in North America, Caterpillar's components business, and Caterpillar's research and development division. He also serves on the boards of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Fecon has named Mark Ferguson the southwest regional sales manager and market specialist in mulcher applications for wildfire prevention and management. Ted Christian has also been named national sales manager. Fecon manufactures mulching attachments, track carriers, tree shears, grapples and stump grinders.
