Hunt Tractor Turns 85

Hunt Tractor, a CNH equipment dealer based in Kentucky, is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year.

R.S. Hunt founded Hunt Tractor in 1922 as an agricultural dealership. The company then evolved into a utility and site, commercial and residential construction, demolition, landscaping, and general excavating dealership. Hunt's main offices have been located at 1000 E. Market Street since 1949 and a branch location is in Elizabethtown, Ky.

Initially providing custom farm services and sales of threshing machines in rural areas bordering the Fort Knox military complex, Hunt now sells, rents and supports a wide range of equipment targeted toward all aspects of building and construction. Throughout its existence, Hunt has represented Case, now CNH.

The company has transitioned management responsibilities to Scott Hunt Jr. who now represents fourth generation leadership. Scott assumes the role previously held by his father Scott Hunt Sr.
