Allied Construction Products has announced that the Rammer name, an established brand in the construction industry since 1978, is being dropped. During a two-year period, Allied will phase out the Rammer brand on its hydraulic impact hammers and cutter crusher pulverizers.
The products will be re-branded Sandvik. Sandvik Mining and Construction, the parent company of Rammer, is developing a family look for all its products.
Allied, which has the exclusive distribution agreement to sell and distribute Rammer products in the NAFTA region, will work with Sandvik to promote the re-branding.
No technical changes to the product are anticipated as part of the re-branding, and the distribution network will remain the same.
