White Oak Equipment has made several new appointments. Richard Marsh has joined the company as corporate sales manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and parts management with the company.

Christine Sparks has been appointed corporate sales support and marketing associate. Prior to joining the company, Sparks worked as a defense contractor in Washington, D.C. Kelly Curtis also joins the company in corporate credit and finance. Several new salespeople have also been hired, including Rusty Edwards, E. B. Marsh, and Bill O'Conner.

Headquartered in Fredericksburg, White Oak is the full line Case dealer in Virginia.

Linder Industrial Machinery Co. has won two 2004 Sales Excellence Awards from Ingersoll-Rand. The North and South Carolina locations of the distributor received the awards for outstanding sales performance of commercial pavers and highway class pavers in 2004. The two locations were formally known as Mitchell Distributing.

Linder added Ingersoll-Rand paving equipment to its products in 2004. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Linder represents a variety of product lines including: Komatsu, Dressta, Blaw-Knox, Etnyre, JRB, Pemberton, Esco, and Hensley.

Romco Equipment has also been named a 2004 Sales Excellence Award winner by Ingersoll-Rand. Romco is being recognized for outstanding sales of compaction equipment in 2004. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Romco has eight branches and carries Ingersoll-Rand, Volvo and Hitachi.

Ingersoll-Rand has appointed Terry Dolan vice president of company-owned stores; Scott Krull is vice president and general manager, China, for Ingersoll-Rand Construction Technologies and Compact Vehicle Technologies; and Shawn Sweet is the new vice president of sales and Ingersoll-Rand brands.

LiftOne, a division of Carolina Tractor and Equipment, was recently named one of six Platinum Dealer of Excellence Award winners by Cat Lift Trucks. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., LiftOne also received the prestigious Five Star Service Award for outstanding customer service. The awards are a part of the Quest for Excellence Program, which focuses on revenue growth and financial viability, as well as customer satisfaction, equipment growth, product support growth, asset utilization and profitability.

Sakai America has appointed Rose Equipment, Plasterer Equipment and VanLott as authorized dealers. Rose Equipment, based in Lincoln, Neb., will provide sales, parts and service for Sakai products in Nebraska and Iowa. Headquartered in Lebanon, Pa., Plasterer Equipment will cover the state of Pennsylvania. VanLott, based in West Columbia, S.C., will cover North Carolina. Sakai America manufactures vibratory soil and asphalt compactors, static rollers, soil stabilizers and rollers designed for Superpave and perpetual pavements.

Doosan Infracore America has named Bejac Corp. the new Doosan Daewoo dealer in Southern California. Headquartered in Placentia, Calif., Bejac Corp. will rent, sell, and service Doosan Daewoo excavators and loaders to the light industrial, waste management, mining, demolition, and construction industries.

Key Equipment Finance has named Jeffrey L. Gocken national sales manager for its construction and industrial vendor leasing segment. He will be responsible for managing the U.S. field and inside sales teams. Key Equipment Finance is a bank-affiliated equipment financing company and an affiliate of KeyCorp.

Bobcat Enterprises has been named a new utility equipment dealer for Ingersoll-Rand. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bobcat Enterprises serves customers in Central and Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana with stores in Cincinnati, Mt. Orab, Hilliard and Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky.

Bobcat Enterprises carries Ingersoll-Rand compact wheel loaders, compact excavators, backhoe loaders, full-line material handling equipment, concrete equipment, air compressors, light towers, mobile environmental generators, asphalt and soil compactors, and light compaction equipment.

Tom Roe has been named sales director for Stow Construction Equipment in Carson, Calif. He has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to being named to his current position, Roe worked as the field sales manager for Multiquip's Concrete/Masonry Cutting Division. Mulitquip has named Kevin Day director of the Concrete and Masonry Technologies Division. Most recently he worked as the western region sales manager for NationsRent.

Stow Construction Equipment, a division of Multiquip, is a supplier of concrete and masonry working equipment, dewatering pumps, diamond blades, and surface preparation products. Multiquip manufactures compaction equipment, welders, generators, concrete and masonry cutting, placing and finishing products, dewatering pumps, and other construction equipment.

Craig Olson has been promoted to manager, marketing communications, promotions and events for John Deere Construction & Forestry Co. Olson replaces Jim Mitchell, who retired after 33 years with the company.

Olson will be responsible for all advertising and public relations activities for John Deere construction products worldwide, and for Hitachi construction and mining products. During his 29 years with John Deere, Olson has held a variety of management positions including training, field and factory product support, sales and marketing.

Feterl has named Steve Bartels director of dealer development for the service body division. He has more than 15 years experience in management and sales. In his new position, Bartels will be responsible for qualifying and appointing dealers to sell and service Feterl heavy-duty crane service bodies, lube bodies and specialty equipment throughout the United States and Canada.

LBX Co. has named Colwell Equipment a Link-Belt dealer for its earthmoving, forestry, scrap and material handling equipment in lower Michigan. Headquartered in Canton, Mich., Colwell represents a number of manufacturers including Link-Belt, Wacker, Atlas Copco, Blaw-Knox, LeeBoy and many more.

Link-Belt also recently closed on a 8.2879 acre site in Lexington, Ky., which is the future site of LBX Company headquarters.

The LBX office building will be a two-story structure with approximately 26,000 square feet and will house all of the functional activities of the company except for field operations.

The LBX customer service/training building will be approximately 7500 square feet and will include a two-story area of 1440 square feet per floor. The two-story area will be used for both the Distribution Center functions and the LBX Company Training Center. The remainder of the building will be used to provide staging of equipment for sales and service training, engineering testing and limited equipment teardown.

An outdoor area behind the customer service/training building will be used as a demonstration area. The building is expected to be completed by September 2006.

Geith has made two new appointments. Michael Crimmins has been appointed service manager. He has worked for Geith worldwide and has experience in the manufacturing and hydraulics industries. In addition, Ray Corrigan has been named West Coast sales representative covering California, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Nevada.

Prior to being appointed sales representative, Corrigan worked in Geith's design department. He has nearly 10 years experience in the attachments industry. Geith is a manufacturer of excavator and backhoe attachments.

Holt Cat has made several appointments. Keith Collins has been named the product support sales representative for the San Antonio area. Collins most recently served as a parts counter representative. He will be responsible for promoting parts and service to customers in the San Antonio area.

Jacob Wray has been named the agricultural sales representative for the San Antonio Area. As agricultural sales representative, Wray will assist customers with their agricultural product needs in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Holt Cat is the Caterpillar dealer for South, Central, North, and Northeast Texas.

Also, Brian Foster has been named a light construction sales representative for the Fort Worth area. Foster will be responsible for promoting the dealership's line of compact construction equipment and work tools. He has four years experience in construction equipment sales.

In addition, Holt Cat has also named Rusty Brawner general construction sales representative for the Fort Worth area. Brawner joined Holt Rental Services in 2004 with extensive sales experience. Also, Shane Whitewood has been appointed agricultural machine sales representative for the North Dallas area. In his new position, Whitewood will assist customers with their agricultural machinery needs in North Dallas and the surrounding areas.

Peterson Pacific Corp. has made several new appointments. Derek Izworski, Jeff Fink and Steve Whittington have been named regional sales managers covering the Mid Central, North Central and South Central regions, respectively.

In addition, Peterson also appointed Dave Stone a blower truck sales manager. He will coordinate domestic and international blower truck sales and marketing efforts with area and regional sales managers and distributors.

Peterson Pacific Corp. specializes in the development and sales of delivery and processing equipment that turns low-grade organic materials into high value products.
