Finkbiner Equipment Wins 2005 IED Golf Tournament

Taking the traveling trophy this year at the Illinois Equipment Distributor's (IED) 37th Annual Golf Classic June 23, was Finkbiner Equipment.

Finkbiner was able to edge out the team from Ritchie Bros. with an eagle on the tiebreaker hole, forcing last year's winner, McCann Industries, to give up the Traveling Trophy. McCann finished in third place.

More than 50 golfers participated in this year's event held at the Doral Eaglewood Resort in Itasca, Ill. AED was a sponsor of the event, together with CitiCapital, CIT Group, National City Bank, 1st Source Bank, Construction Equipment Guide and Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.

Awards were presented to:

1st Place - Finkbiner Equipment (Score: 61)
2nd Place - Ritchie Bros. (Score: 61)
3rd Place - McCann Industries (Score: 62)
Longest Putt - Dave Gordon, AED
Longest Drive - Matt Roland, Roland Machinery
