Dealer Meetings At AED

Manufacturers planned meetings during AED's Annual Meeting.

The only show specifically designed for executives and managers in the equipment distribution industry - AED's 2007 Annual Meeting & CONDEX - is the perfect opportunity for manufacturers to meet with their dealers.

At the 2007 convention, ESCO's Engineered Products Group will hold its 2007 Dealer Executive Policy Meeting January 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, ESCO will present anniversary awards to dealers achieving milestones with the company. The annual Gerry Leake Award for outstanding service by a dealer representative will be presented, and the company will host a Hospitality Suite.

Ingersoll Rand will host a dealer meeting January 15 to present a general business update on products and key marketing initiatives at the invitation-only meeting. Ingersoll Rand attachments will be on display at CONDEX.

Liebherr Construction Equipment will host its annual dealer meeting January 15. During the meeting, Liebherr will discuss Bauma, new product introductions for 2007, sales and marketing strategies, and other company news. Liebherr will also host a special dinner event for its dealers.

Caterpillar is hosting a breakfast for its dealers, and Kawasaki has planned a reception for its dealers. Both are set for January 16.

"We've found it beneficial to meet with dealers to discuss strategic issues, plan for the coming year and discuss any issues that may need to be resolved with the dealer," says Gary S. Bell, VP general manager for Kawasaki. "AED's Annual Meeting has been a very efficient way for us to start the year by meeting with dealers, hearing what market conditions are in various parts of the country, and picking up on emerging industry trends - all in a couple of days."
