Stein to present keynote during AED/GE Capital Solutions Inaugural Dinner.
"Bueller..." With that one word, Ben Stein became a household name for his role as a stuffy economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Stein, who will be the keynote speaker for the AED/GE Capital Solutions Inaugural Dinner during the 2007 AED Annual Meeting, is a well-known lawyer, teacher, actor, comic, economist, novelist and essayist. He appears regularly on the Fox News Channel and has been a columnist for many newspapers, magazines and websites, including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Barrons, Los Angeles Magazine, New York Magazine, E! Online, and The American Spectator.
In the early 1970s, Stein was a speech writer for Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
He has written and published sixteen books, seven novels and nine nonfiction books.
Stein is a memorable actor in movies, TV, and commercials, and his part as the boring teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off was recently ranked one of the 50 most famous scenes in American film.
