Mike Davis has been appointed vice president and general manager for Stafford Equipment in the Carolinas and Virginia. He will be responsible for the sales, parts and service departments for five of the company's branches.
Stafford, based in Tifton, Ga., represents John Deere, LBX, JCB, Terex, Tadano, Liebherr, Shuttlelift, Hyundai, Vibromax, and more. Ingersoll Rand has named two new dealers: Price Bros. Equipment will cover the Kansas City, Kan., area; and Bobcat of Motor City - Livonia will cover southeastern Michigan.
Liebherr has promoted Tim Doucette to the new position of marketing and public relations manager. He will be responsible for media and public relations, including advertising and print media, event management and external communications.
Georg Seyrlehner has also been appointed general manager of earthmoving products. He will be responsible for training dealer sales people on Liebherr products, competitive comparisons, and interface with the various Liebherr factories on new product features for the US market.
Liebherr manufactures construction and earthmoving equipment.
Stafford, an equipment dealer based in Tifton, Ga., recently completed the acquisition of AE Finley & Associates, an equipment dealer with branches in Charlotte, Leland and Raleigh, N.C. and West Columbia, S.C.
With the acquisition, Stafford now has nine locations throughout the Southeast to serve its customers. The purchase of A.E. Finley comes in the wake of Stafford's company-wide realignment. The former sister companies of Reliable Tractor in Tifton, Ga.; Stafford Tractor Co., in Lawrenceville, Ga.; Stafford Tractor of the Carolinas based in Charlotte, N.C.; and Stafford Atlantic Machinery, in Ashland, Va., have united as one company under CEO John Wall's leadership.
Stafford represents a number of manufacturers including John Deere, LBX Excavators, JCB, Terex, Tadano cranes, Liebherr, Shuttlelift, Hyundai and Vibromax.
JLG has named David Baxter director of North American marketing and market development. Baxter will be responsible for marketing communications, product management, market research, economic analysis, and branding and merchandising. JLG manufactures aerial-work platforms and telehandlers.
Breaker Technology (BTI) has named Michael Meehan a regional sales manager covering the Midwest. BTI manufactures rockbreaker systems.
Sakai America has appointed Remco Equipment Sales as distributor in northwest Georgia. Remco is headquartered in Ringgold, Ga.
Sakai America also recently named Malvese Equipment Co. an authorized dealer for New York City and Long Island, N.Y. Malvese, based in Hicksville, N.Y., represents New Holland, Volvo, Terex and Cedarapids. Sakai manufactures vibratory soil and asphalt compactors, static rollers and soil stabilizers.
Cliff Hutcheson is the new governmental sales representative for Holt Cat, covering Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties in Texas. Chris Howell and Brad Nichols will serve as general construction sales reps. Howell will cover Dallas, Hunt, Kaufman and Rockwell counties, while Nichols will be responsible for the San Antonio area. Holt Cat, based in Irving, Texas, is the Caterpillar dealer in 118 counties in Texas.
Mike Youhouse has been named application/development engineer responsible for developing Onboard Power Solutions products for Ingersoll Rand. Ingersoll Rand Onboard Power Solutions offers a full line of under-chassis and above-deck air compressors, generators, welders and vehicle jump starters.
Terex Construction Americas has expanded its product management team to cover four different groups of equipment within the group. The new team members are: Lowell Stout, senior project manager; Bob Wickwire, responsible for heavy excavators and wheel loaders; Bill Parker, responsible for compact excavators and wheel loaders; Ernie Ferguson, responsible for backhoes, rollers and dumpers; and Ken Emmett, responsible for trucks, motor graders and scrapers. Terex Construction Americas is one of Terex Corp.'s five business segments.
LBX has named Rob Brittain product manager, responsible for development of products of the earthmoving, forestry and material handling industries. Amy Lindon has been named marketing communications manager. She will be responsible for the company's promotional campaigns, literature, trade shows and conventions, company logos and sales training.
LBX markets Link-Belt excavators, scrap/material handlers and forestry equipment.
