Wennsoft has released version 9.0, which serves as a compatibility release to Microsoft Dynamics GP version 9.0. In preparing for the release of version 9.0 WennSoft and several other key ISV partners had the opportunity to work closely with Microsoft Dynamics GP to help align the timing of the release for delivery to all customers.
The WennSoft core software product line includes the Service Management Series, Job Cost and Equipment Management Series, all of which are now compatible with version 9.0 Microsoft Dynamics GP. Each of the products provide distinctly unique business management benefits and tie common business activities, such as dispatching, change orders, construction project management and asset management, into the business' financial reporting packages.
Rick Farquhar has been appointed president of ValuePart. He will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, and all support functions of ValuePart's North American distribution, corporate facilities, and product lines. ValuePart is a supplier of undercarriage and repair parts.
United Rentals has made two appointments: James Milde has been named senior vice president and chief information officer; and Todd Helvie will serve as vice president - tax and business development. Milde will oversee the company's corporate and branch information technology operations. Helvie will be responsible for United Rentals' corporate taxation and strategic acquisitions and divestitures.
MeriCap Credit has named Walter Savage vice president of the company's Construction & Industrial Equipment division. In this role, Savage will be responsible for building and managing MeriCap's C&I sales efforts through its business development managers. MeriCap Credit is a commercial finance company.
Yves Sicotte has been named to the position of vice president, sales and marketing for PowerTech. PowerTech manufactures percussion buckets for the construction, demolition, aluminum, mining, tunnel digging, forestry and military industries.
JCB recently appointed a new managing director of sales, Matthew Taylor. Taylor will be responsible for the global sales efforts of the company. JCB is a manufacturer of backhoe-loaders, excavators, skid-steer loaders, wheel loaders and much more.
Foley Inc. has made several new appointments. John Cafro has been named a customer support representative. In addition, Mike Byelick has also been appointed a hydraulics customer support representative. The newly appointed corporate customer service agreement manager is Kevin Crawford.
George Kattak has been named director of finance. Kerri Grenger will serve as controller. In her new role, Grenger will manage the accounting department. Kattak will be responsible for all aspects of the finance department, having the treasurer and controller report to him.
Foley is the Caterpillar dealer in northern New Jersey, Staten Island, and Bermuda.
Bill Bordelon has been named general construction sales manager responsible for the southern region for Holt Cat. In addition, Mark Eades has been named rental sales representative for the Longview area. Holt Cat is the Caterpillar dealer for south, central, north, and northeast Texas.
