Kathleen Holst, regional vice president of the NES Traffic Safety division, has been elected president of the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) for 2006-2007. She is the first woman president of the organization, which is made up of 390 company members involved in designing, building, and maintaining the system of roads, airports, public transportation and waterways in Illinois. Stevenson Sales & Service recently became the newest dealer of the Carrydeck line of industrial cranes from Shuttlelift. The cranes are available from 8.5 tons through the newly released 22-ton capacity model.
Stevenson, headquartered in Bolingbrook, Ill., is an authorized dealer for Alimak construction hoists, Terex cranes and boom trucks, Gehl construction equipment and Manitou telescopic handlers.
Mustang Manufacturing Co. has promoted Steve Meschke to customer support manager. In his new role, Meschke will head up the manufacturer's new customer service department, Team Mustang.
Team Mustang consists of six expert staff members, each trained to handle questions related to Mustang parts, service, invoicing, marketing and more. Their goal is to answer 100 percent of the calls they receive and address each caller's questions immediately.
Mustang has also promoted Stephen Fulton to the position of regional sales manager. A former salesman for Gehl, Fulton will now be in charge of all Mustang distribution in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. Fulton's territory will also include parts of Missouri, Indiana, Ohio and Florida.
Dave Watson has been appointed vice president of NorAm Construction Equipment. In his new role, Watson will be involved in all phases of NorAm's business including machinery sales, dealer development, and product support. He has over 25 years of management experience in the construction equipment industry.
NorAm has been distributing the NorAm 65E compact motor grader and its predecessor, the Fiatallis 65 grader since 1993.
Nathan Colish has been appointed territory manager for Liebherr Equipment Source of Manassas, Va. Liebherr Equipment Services is a full service Liebherr dealership.
