With 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space and a plethora of education sessions, this Las Vegas show requires a good game plan.
Construction equipment industry professionals from around the world are ready to converge upon Las Vegas March 11 to 15, 2008 for the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show.
With the estimated attendance of 125,000 people, more than 2,000 exhibitors taking 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space and more than 120 educational sessions all taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, it's easy to get lost in the sheer magnitude and abundance of the trade show.
Held every three years, CONEXPO-CON/AGG showcases the latest equipment, products, services and technologies. The show is broken into 14 product concentration areas, making it easier for visitors to locate specific products, services and exhibitors. In addition, the exposition also provides a comprehensive education program with sessions emphasizing industry issues and trends, management and applied technology.
Consider broadening your horizons with products available from international manufacturers. This year's CONEXPO will feature a record number of international pavilions from Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Highlights for 2008:
The IFPE Technical Conference, March 12-14, is co-located with CONEXPO and features a record number of presentations covering the latest power transmission and motion control practices. Topics include asset management, fluids, hydraulic systems and valves, seals and much more. IPAF Safety Zone - Click-It! - learn why professionals always wear a full body harness in boom-type aerial work platforms, and what could happen if you don't. This fast-paced live demonstration takes place during the show. Click-It! is a nationwide campaign to boost safety. Construction Challenge - the final competition featuring students performing in three challenges related to the construction industry, sponsored by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). Antique Equipment Display - see how far the industry has come by viewing equipment from decades past. Dealers looking for a way to organize their trip through the exhibits may want to check out the CONEXPO Web site, www.conexpoconagg.com, where you can map your show. With this feature, the user can search for exhibitors and locate them with the interactive floor plan, as well as create a schedule.
