Dealer Meetings To Be Held At AED MTU Detroit Diesel, Wirtgen and ESCO schedule dealer events. AED’s Annual Meeting & CONDEX, the only show specifically designed for executives and managers in the equipment distribution industry, is the perfect opportunity for manufacturers to meet with their dealers. At the 2006 Annual Meeting, MTU Detroit Diesel is holding a distributor sales meeting and ICON Awards on Wednesday, January 25. The company will discuss key marketing activities and updates on products, and highlight several of its distributors’ best practices.

In addition, MTU Detroit Diesel will hold its 2nd annual ICON Awards Ceremony. Distributors will be recognized for their outstanding contributions in 2005. A dinner and awards ceremony are planned following the sales meeting.

ESCO’s Engineered Products Group will hold its 2006 Dealer Executive Policy Meeting at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on Thursday, January 26. The dealer breakfast will be held from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.

In addition to the meeting, ESCO will present anniversary awards to dealers achieving milestones with ESCO. The annual Gerry Leake Award for outstanding service by a dealer representative will be presented, and the company will also host a hospitality suite at the Manchester Grand Hyatt.

Wirtgen America will honor its dealers with an invitation-only event at their hospitality suite in the San Diego Marriott. The company will recognize dealers from its three product areas: Wirtgen asphalt reclaiming and recycling equipment, Hamm asphalt and soil compactors, and U.S.-sourced Vögele America asphalt pavers.

Briggs Equipment Co. was honored for achieving top sales in 2004 for all three equipment lines.

Elliott & Frantz, King of Prussia, Pa., was awarded second place, and Construction Crane & Tractor, Folcroft, Pa., took third place in Wirtgen America sales for 2004. Shaull Equipment Co., Lemoyne, Pa., was recognized for second place, and Roland Machinery Co., Springfield, Ill., was recognized for third place in Vögele America sales for 2004. And Murphy Tractor & Equipment, Wichita, Kan. was honored for second place in Hamm equipment sales for 2004, while Elliott & Frantz was honored for third place.
