In Memorium: Bob Olejniczak

by Sara Smith | Aug 29, 2019
Bob O’s fifteen year battle with ALS came to an end on August 15, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 44 years (Patti), daughters (Jill Scullion, Angie Stephens and Tracy Hudson), son-in-laws (Daniel Scullion, Mike Stephens and Nathan Hudson) and grandchildren (Cape and Callie Stephens), who were by his side until the end.

Bob had a 25 year career with Columbus Equipment Company, starting in sales and working up to President.  He moved on to become the Executive Vice President of Linder in the Carolina’s, working through his disease among his friends.  He developed close relationships with many of his coworkers, who remember him fondly for his mentorship, high-standards and tenacious spirit.  Outside of work, Bob was an avid Buckeye fan, devoted husband and father, and loved his days at the beach. Bob maintained his strength, spirit and humor until the end.  He will be deeply missed and remembered in high regard, as an example of a life well lived and a role model to those who knew him.
